My horse, Skipper, is a 16 hand, 23 year old, pasture pet, who had his second episode of Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) in a year. Even with treatment he continued to deteriorate. The vet said he was a bad case and I would have to euthanize him. Skipper still had his spark and I decided to change treatment. His movements became ratcheted and he was high stepping. I would have to go out to the pasture and slowly walk him to the barn to feed. I found out about Ozonated Glycerin and decided to try that. Four days after his second injection he was bucking and galloping around the pasture. My farriers saw him a few days later and wanted to know what I had done. They had been out 6 weeks prior and I had to lean on Skipper's side so they had a little extra time to get out of the way if he fell. They said in their 20+ years dealing with horses, they had never seen anything like this. Dr. DePaolo was so impressed that he wanted to go into partnership with me to offer this to others. This was our first experience with Ozonated Glycerin. Skipper's 1st injection was December 23, 2024 and his last was January 27, 2025. He has been fine and has showed no issues. Dr. John D'Amanda

Kam is a 17 hand, 14 year old, Hunter Jumper who had a sesamoid removed from his left front foot a few years ago. He performed fine when jumping but was stiff and gimpy on the left when on flat surfaces. He sometimes was resistant to pick up his left lead. Dr. D'Amanda told me about his horse and I had witnessed his improvement. We asked if the Ozonated Glycerin might help Kam. Dr. D'Amanda came out and injected Kam by IV on February 15,2025. I rode him 5 days later and he was perfect. Even the ranch owner said he looked like his old self. Kam had one time during the two weeks after the first injection that he was gimpy on his left. But most of the time he was great. Dr. D'Amanda came out two weeks later for his second injection. After the second injection Kam has been perfect. The trainer was so impressed that she had Dr. DePaolo inject several other horses. We have been so impressed.  Lori Loerwald and Kelly Merendon, Cross Roads, TX

I've had back pain for many years and had several surgeries on my low back. I've had nerves burned to try to stop the pain and have taken lots of medications to stop the pain. Nothing has worked for long. Dr. D'Amanda has injected my back several times with Prolozone and it has helped but only for a few days. I pretty much had lost hope that I would ever be out of pain for any length of time. Dr. D'Amanda and Dr. DePaolo came to my ranch, where we train Hunter Jumpers, and injected several horses with ozonated glycerin, Ozactin O3G. The results we are seeing in our horses is amazing. So I asked Dr. D'Amanda to inject me. My first injection was amazing. For the first time in years I was pain free. I had energy and I felt great. A couple of weeks later when I went in for my second injection I told Dr. D that I think he found the Fountain of Youth. I have had three injections now and I still feel great! I have my life back!  Robert Allison, Cross Roads, TX

Gator is a 16 hand, 27 year old, warmblood, retired trail horse. I have ridden a million miles on the back of this horse and he's always been great. He started to get arthritic a few years ago and we had to retire. When he was young he would trot up to the trough at feed time and check my pockets to see if I had treats for him. Now days I have to go get him in the pasture and bring him to the trough. He doesn't check my pockets anymore. He seems a little depressed. On February 11, 2025, Dr. D'Amanda came out and gave Gator an IV of Ozonated Glycerin. Two days later, Gator walked to the trough at feed time and checked my pockets for treats. He seemed like his old self. It's been about five weeks since his first injection and he is starting to show stiffness and is going back to where he was before the injection. On March 16, 2025, Dr. D'Amanda did another IV on Gator. Within an hour after the second injection, Gator was starting to perk up and seemed more comfortable. I'm hoping that we can keep Gator feeling good. If we need to inject him once a month for him to feel good, it is worth it.   Larry Garner, Oak Point, TX

I had been at a horse show for 3 weeks. When I got back home I felt like I was coming down with something. I was tired and not sleeping good. Dr. D'Amanda has been my primary doctor for many years. I called him and he got me in that afternoon. I got ozone the last time I felt bad and it worked pretty fast. It would give me a cough I didn't like. The good thing was the cough only lasted about 5 minutes. But I always felt a lot better later. This time Dr. D'Amanda told me he had something much better. He told me that this new stuff Ozonated Glycerin would last longer in my system, he could give me more ozone and it would help me feel better. The best thing for me was he said I wouldn't cough like before. Sounded good to me. He gave me a shot in my vein. It took about 5 minutes. We sat and talked for a while about the horse show and what he was doing with horses. I know his horse and he was looking great. While we were talking I started feeling better. I also felt like I could see better. I told Dr. D'Amanda what I was feeling and he said that was normal and it would get better. He was right. Later that night I felt great. The great feeling lasted three days. I felt really good for about three weeks. I went back and got another shot. It's been five weeks since my second shot and I still feel really good.  Jim B., Decatur, TX

"I called Dr. D'Amanda from San Antonio to see if he could help me with my back pain. He tried to help me find a doctor closer to me, but after calling the doctors he suggested I was told he was the only one who worked with backs. I sent him a copy of my MRI. He called me the next day to tell me that he thought he could help me. I bought a plane ticket to Dallas. He worked with my schedule and saw me on his day off. He took the time to tell me what was going on with my back, what he was going to do, and what to expect over the next few days. He also told me how to take care of my back after I get back home. My friend was with me and she watched the doctor work with me and asked if he could help her knee pain. He told her that he gets good results with knees but would need some history of her condition. After he finished with me, he checked my friend and said he thought he could help her. He took care of my friend. We both were so excited. We had no pain when we left. The doctor called us the next day to check on us. I told him we were talking about how funny it felt to be without pain. I will see the doctor before I fly back home in a couple of days. I am so excited to find Dr. D'Amanda."
